BM TRADA officially launched a suite of Q Mark schemes for flat glass units in May 2007. The schemes are based on the requirements of the harmonised European Standards as follows:
Toughened Glass – BS EN 12150
Heat Soaked Toughened Glass – BS EN 14179
Laminated Glass - BS EN 14449 / BS EN 12543
Anti Bandit Laminated Glass – BS EN 356
By achieving the Q-Mark you will satisfy the requirements of the Construction Products Directive (CPD) and be able to CE mark your products.
BM TRADA also offers certification to BS 857 – Glass for Land transport.
