Newline achieve Worksafe certification with BM TRADA

Newline Mechanical Services Ltd in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, has been certified by BM TRADA Certification under the Worksafe scheme, an occupational health and safety scheme jointly developed by BM TRADA and the Confederation of Associations of Specialist Engineering Contractors (CASEC) for Northern Ireland. The scheme meets the requirements of the Buildsafe-NI initiative, which has an overall aim of improving the application and management of health and safety systems within the construction industry in Northern Ireland, to ensure risks are controlled and the number of accidents reduced. The scheme has been endorsed by the Central Procurement Directorate in Northern Ireland and can be used to help with the pre-qualification and selection processes for public sector works contracts. As mechanical services contractors involved in heating, plumbing, process pipework, ventilation and other key services, Newline was keen to demonstrate to customers that it gave top priority to health & safety issues.
