Chain of custody for Cotswold Manufacturing with BM TRADA

Date: 20th January 2009

Doorset specialists Cotswold Manufacturing has achieved joint FSC and PEFC chain of custody certification with BM TRADA Certification.

Commercial Director Ken Napper said the decision to target chain of custody certification was made, not only to meet customer demand, but also to open additional business streams for the company. ‘It enables us, too, to demonstrate our firm commitment to the environment.’

Cotswold Manufacturing was able to integrate chain of custody procedures into its operations very smoothly – in fact, a further benefit of certification is the opportunity to review and steamline procedures to enhance efficiency, said Mr Napper.  ‘And it has without doubt raised our profile in new and existing markets. The fact that clients can now “single source” their doorset requirements from us is a huge plus for them and for us.’
