DSR Printhaus adds chain of custody to credentials

Print and print management specialists DSR Printhaus has been awarded joint chain of custody certification under the FSC and PEFC schemes by BM TRADA, for its operation in Northampton. The £35 million turnover group spans 15 locations across Europe.
Phil Thomson said, ‘ We felt it necessary to improve our green credentials in the current business climate where environmental issues are very much to the fore. More and more customers are asking about chain of custody certification when they approach us to tender for work and we see this trend continuing.’
And since being awarded FSC/PEFC certification, DSR Printhaus has definitely brought in new business. ‘Within days of being accredited we received three requests for chain of custody, two from existing clients, but one from a new customer. By being able to offer FSC and PEFC-certified services we are demonstrating very clearly that as a market leader we are tuned in to clients’ needs.’
