BATTY JOINERY MANUFACTURERS ACHIEVES FSC CERTIFICATION WITH BM TRADA

Batty Joinery Manufacturers in Hull has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody certification with BM TRADA.

Established in 1919, the joinery manufacturer produces bespoke products for clients across the UK.  According to William Smith, Business Development Manager for Batty ‘We offer a truly bespoke service from design right through to fitting.  Our extensive expertise and experience means that our clients receive a high level of service’.

Achieving FSC certification is a very important part of Batty’s environmental stance.  Mr Smith added, ‘We feel that, as a business, it’s our responsibility to take more care and look at our impact on the environment.’

Certification opens new business opportunities. ‘There are quantifiable benefits including the winning of public contracts and work from major contractors where the specification enforces the supply of sustainable products.’
